MSP800 chassis and power supply

The Microsens Enterprise Access Platform (MSP800) offers a variable and versatile platform for the connection of different services and protocols up to a bandwidth of 2.7GBit/s. This flexibility is achieved by the modular design and the wide range of chassis types with different numbers of modules and power supplies with different voltage ranges.

The 19" chassis offers a fail-save redundant power supply option.. Our portfolio offers a4U chassis with 28 module slots, a 3U chassis with 14 and a desktop chassis for just one slot (typically used locally as a remote station).

All modules of the same series can be combined freely and exchanged during operation (hot swap). All connections are accessible from the front, making installation and maintenance extremely easy.

A management insertion module provides current operating states, such as power supply, temperature or information about connections of individual segments via SNMP. Besides this, the web-based management allows visualization using Internet browsers.

With MSP800, xWDM systems up to a transmission bandwidth of 2.7 GBit/s can be set up cost-efficiently in addition to the classic conversion and conversion services. Services are not limited to Ethernet; the modular design even allows the integration of serial protocols such as RS-232, RS-422 and RS-485 or even the xWDM transmission of G.703 protocols. This parallel transmission via just one fiber optic cable optimizes existing networks up to the simplest protocols.
