Industrial Entry Line GbE Switch

The Entry-Line series stands for economical and powerful Plug and Play Industrial Ethernet solutions and offers a wide range of components with different features. The Entry Line Gigabit Switches product series consists of two components with different features in terms of network interfaces:

- 8-Port Gigabit Switch (8x 10/100/1000Base-T)

- 6-Port Gigabit LWL Switch (4x 10/100/1000Base-T, 2x 100/1000Base-X SFP-Slots, 1x Combo 10/100/1000Base-T)

The 6-port Gigabit variant with four Gigabit copper connections, a 10/100/1000T or 100/1000X SFP combo port and a Dual Speed 100/1000X SFP slot for the connection via optical fibers is very flexibly designed in the connection. Whether as a network distributor in a star-shaped network with 5x 10/100/1000Base-T or with fiber optics looped through within a bus-based Ethernet topology, this device variant is used.

Three power supply unit inputs enable redundant power supply of the switches and connected terminal devices. If the primary or secondary supply voltage fails, an alarm contact can be triggered. The robust metal housing with DIN-Rail adapter (as well as alternative wall mounting adapters included), the voltage input with wide range and the extended operating temperature range from -40° to +75°C are further features of the Entry Line series.
