Outdoor mast box IP67 for PoE+ and fiber optic outdoor applications

With the IP67 mast box MICROSENS offers a pre-assembled compact enclosure, which is suited perfectly for the integration of the Ruggedized Gigabit Micro Switches. WiFi access points, video cameras, weather stations, barrier systems as well as other control and monitoring systems can be connected to an IP network.

The housing is usually mounted using a clamp band or corresponding mounting brackets. The compact housing dimensions also allow direct mounting inside mast systems, for which optional mast hooks are available.

The pre-assembled IP67 housing has a fiber tray (splice cassette) and thus supports the accommodation of fiber optic connections. Furthermore, it optionally includes a 24 VDC or 48 VDC power supply, whereby the 230 VAC supply line is intercepted via an existing terminal block.

The housing is equipped with three PG fitting (2x PG11 and 1x PG16) for feeding the cables. A further PG13 cable fitting can optionally be realized using a further drilling device.

The 6-port Gigabit Ruggedized Micro Switch is ideally suited as an active network component and is available in various versions depending on requirements. Three different voltage versions are available (48 VDC for PoE/PoE+ applications, 24 VDC and 230 VAC) as well as three different port versions (2x optical fiber for bus or ring topologies, 1x optical fiber and a pure RJ-45 variant).

In combination with the Ruggedized Micro Switch, the IP67 mast box becomes a powerful and compact active distributor for outdoor applications.
