Industrial Entry Line GbE Extender VDSL2

The Entry-Line series stands for economical and powerful Plug and Play Industrial Ethernet solutions. It offers a wide range of devices with diverse features. The Entry Line VDSL Extender offers the transmission of the Ethernet protocol via conventional 2-wire lines (telephone or ISTY cable) with a length of up to 2000 m.

With transmission speeds of up to 88 MBit/s (Down Stream at 200 m), this extender offers high network performance. For longer distances of up to 2000 meters, the achievable bandwidth is reduced accordingly. The maximum speed to be achieved on the transmission path is automatically negotiated depending on the distance and line quality.

The devices are used pairwise according to the master/slave principle, whereby configuration takes place via DIP switches. The network connection is made via an RJ-45 socket with 10/100Base-TX autonegotiation. The 2-wire line is connected to the system via an RJ-45 socket.

This version also differs in the power supply, besides the typical entry line power supply in 24 VDC, the VDSL Extender can also be supplied with 24 VAC. The robust metal housing with DIN-Rail adapter (as well as alternative wall mounting adapters included) and the extended operating temperature range from -40° to +75°C are further features of the Entry Line series.
